Who we are

HomeSignal is operated by Hein Bosman. Postal address: 32 Walter Road, Broadwood, Gqeberha, South Africa. Email: hello@gethomesignal.com. Every commercial email we send identifies HomeSignal as the sender, uses an accurate subject line and from-address, and includes this postal address and a way to opt out.

What information we use

• Public posts: we review publicly visible posts where people ask for HVAC, plumbing, handyman or roofing help in the Houston, Dallas and Phoenix areas. We share links to those posts plus a short summary and post date; we don't copy or republish post text and don't collect private data about posters.
• Business contact details: publicly listed business names, emails and phone numbers we use to contact home-services businesses (HVAC, plumbing, handyman and roofing).
• What you send us: details you submit through our form or by email (name, company, email, message).

How we use it

To offer and deliver lead information, answer your questions and keep a record of opt-out requests. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information.

How to opt out

You can stop all commercial messages from us at any time, free of charge, by any of these methods:

• Reply STOP to any email from us.
• Email hello@gethomesignal.com with "STOP" in the subject.
• Use the Unsubscribe me link at the bottom of our site.
• Write to us at 32 Walter Road, Broadwood, Gqeberha, South Africa.

We won't ask you for any information other than your email address, and won't require a login, fee or extra steps to opt out.

Our opt-out commitments

• We honor every opt-out request within 10 business days, and usually much sooner.
• Our opt-out mechanism stays working for at least 30 days after each message we send.
• Once you opt out, we won't email you again, and we won't sell, rent, transfer or share your email address or the opt-out list with anyone, except as required by law.
• We keep a suppression list only so we can make sure you are not contacted again.

Data retention and security

We keep inquiry records only as long as needed to respond and for our records, and opt-out records for as long as needed to honor them. We use reasonable measures to protect them.
